Published by the Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International, CAB Abstracts provides access to the world’s life sciences literature. Specialising in management research, Emerald manages a portfolio of over 300 journals. Libraries can choose to subscribe to the entire collection (Emerald eJournals Premier) or to smaller collections or to tailor resources with specific subject collections. Encyclopædia Britannica Academic edition
A general knowledge English language encyclopædia especially designed for the needs of colleges and universities. The subscription includes World Data Analyst. An optional subscription at a discounted price is also available for Image Quest.

Published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Merck Index is an authoritative source of information on chemicals, drugs and biologicals. The fully searchable online edition contains new and historical records not available in the print edition.

Contains all the publications and datasets published by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development since 1998 as well as content published by related organisations such as the International Energy Agency and the Nuclear Energy Agency. Royal Society Packages
The Royal society publishes a number of high-impact journals and their archive, dating back 350 years, contains some of the most significant scientific papers ever published, including Michael Faraday’s series of electrical experiments, Isaac Newton’s invention of the reflecting telescope and Stephen Hawking’s first research paper. Three packages are available to SANLiC members: Excellence in Science, the Physical Sciences Collection and the Biological Sciences Collection.

Royal Society of Chemistry (multi-year offer, 2018-2020)
The Royal Society Gold Collection comprises over 40 peer-reviewed international journals that span the core chemical sciences and related fields. The package on offer to SANLiC members includes a 15% discount on article processing charges. The Royal Society E-Books packages span the chemical and related sciences as well as a number of specialist topics. Access to the e-books is via the RSC publishing platform with pdf downloads and is perpetual.

Springer Nature
The Optimum package provides access to the full Springer e-journal collection as well as Nature, Nature-branded journals and Palgrave Macmillan journals. SANLiC members also have the option to subscribe to additional Nature Academic, Nature Research and Palgrave Macmillan content.

Taylor & Francis Online Journals Library (multi-year offer, 2017-2019)
The offer to SANLiC members is for the Social Sciences and Humanities and the Science and Technology packages (SSH and ST packages). In order to keep increases to a minimum, the Taylor & Francis offer is based on their 2015 title list, which provides access to 1,800 titles in both collections. The Taylor & Francis FRESH Collection comprises new launch titles, which will go into their own collections once they are established.
